While the growth of the solar industry has accelerated sharply in the past few years, the industry is not new and there are actually “old technologies” being utilized. The best example of this is micro-inverters versus string inverters. We use micro-inverters because they yield more electricity, are safer and more reliable, and remove the “single-point-of-failure” scenario of string inverters.
We include web-based monitoring hardware as part of our system. This way you, and we, can see the precise output of your system on a per panel basis. This is only possible because we use micro-inverters, not older technology.
Best practices. It’s a term that is thrown around but we take it seriously. All of our roof penetrations are sealed with metal flashing and rubber gaskets, standard practice for Sunrise unlike most of our competitors. This is a small item, but we build our systems to stay on your roof for 25 years or more.
